GLOBAL GIVING DAY - Become a CHAMPION for FREEDOM

BFF_GGD_IGPost_Fashion Change4 (1).jpg

At the Council for Fashion and Social Change, we are passionate about freedom! This year, we’ve teamed up in support of anti-trafficking organization Beauty for Freedom (BFF), which exists to empower survivors and at-risk youth of human trafficking through creative expression and skills training. Creativity has been proven to help survivors rebuild their lives, providing them with stability and putting them on the path to socio-economic independence. Through their programming, BFF has empowered and supported 2000+ survivors of human trafficking and at-risk youth in the United States and globally.

In years past, CFSC has partnered with BFF on several initiatives in support of victims of sexual and domestic violence and survivors of human trafficking. Our team has joined their teaching and advocacy programs for youth in NYC and survivors of labor trafficking in Ghana, so we are acutely aware of the impact their programming provides for underserved youth globally. Please join me in supporting this cause by donating to our United for Freedom Giving Day fundraiser! Details for donating are below.

Human Trafficking – The Issue

There are an estimated 27 million adults and 13 million children around the world who are victims of human trafficking. Nearly 80% are victims of sex trafficking and 19% are victims of labor trafficking.

Join Council for Fashion and Social Change as we partner on Beauty for Freedom’s “United For Freedom” Giving Day Campaign, a fundraiser to support an expansion of BFF’s programming in the US, India and the BFF Job Readiness Program for Survivors of Human Trafficking in NYC.
