NPT’s mission is to preserve parks today and create park stewards for tomorrow. As we spend more time indoors and as successive generations grow up with less of a connection to nature we need to build greater awareness and appreciation for the importance of our country’s public lands and parks.

PARK PRESERVATION

For the past three decades, NPT has supported and assisted in acquiring inholdings and in developing public and private partnerships to promote the acquisition and protection of parks, wildlife refuges, historic landmarks, public lands, and waterways.

KIDS TO PARKS

The future of our nation's treasured parks, public lands and other open spaces rests in the hands of our youth. Through NPT's widely respected and rapidly growing kids to parks initiatives and Buddy Bison youth education program, everyone will be provided with the American Park experience they deserve.

THE RESULTS

Since 1983, NPT has worked on more than 100 conservation projects benefiting 49 national park units and other public lands in 33 states and Washington, D.C. NPT is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
