Children Incorporated
MISSION
AFTER PERSONALLY WITNESSING THE DEPRIVATION OF CHILDREN IN GUATEMALA, OUR FOUNDER, JEANNE CLARKE WOOD ESTABLISHED CHILDREN INCORPORATED IN 1964.
Out of her home in Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Wood began writing letters and seeking assistance for the 95 children she met on her journey to Guatemala. This became the first Children Incorporated project.
We have stayed true to Ms. Wood’s vision for almost fifty years: Children Incorporated envisions a world in which each and every child has the education, resources, and opportunity to build a better life.
WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES
Your support to Children Incorporated will provide the children in our programs with basic life-saving necessities like food, clothing, healthcare, and education. Whether you choose to sponsor an individual child or simply to make a one-time donation, your partnership with us will positively impact the lives of children in need around the world!
THE RESULTS
Thanks to past and current supporters around the globe, we now have over 300 projects in 23 countries which serve over 20,000 children annually. To date, over 250,000 children have been provided opportunities for growth and education and experienced the support and encouragement our programs provide.
