MISSION

Transforms Indian higher education by funding and creating awareness of the unique, community-based accredited tribal colleges and universities, offering students access to knowledge, skills and cultural values which enhance their communities and the country as a whole.

WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES

Established in 1989, the College Fund is the nation's largest and highest-rated American Indian scholarship organization. Our supporters help us to provide:

• to help American Indian students get to school and succeed;

• capital and program support for tribal colleges;

• cultural and language preservation;

• fellowships for tribal college faculty development;

• early childhood development programs;

• college readiness programs, internships, and career readiness; and

• leadership development.

THE RESULTS

In 2014-15, the College Fund distributed $7,234,889 in direct support to students, including scholarships, internships, leadership training, career readiness, and other programmatic support.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic success, financial need, community involvement, and commitment to their tribal communities.
