AUSTIN CHILDREN'S SHELTER

MISSION

To provide emergency shelter and residential services to protect and heal children and youth in need. Whether with us for one night—or several months—we provide safety and nurturing care to every child and/or youth who comes to us so that they may heal and grow into happy, responsible and fulfilled adults.

WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES

$300 provides 1 night of care to 1 child in need; $212 provides 3 healthy, nutritious meals to 50 kids; $50 provides school supplies to 2 eager students staying with us.

THE RESULTS

In 2014, we provided 178 youth shelter, medical and dental care, and access to resources to help them heal and flourish. This spring, resources like individual and group counseling, academic support, and life-skills classes helped 5 residents to graduate high school and to be prepared for independent life.
